Working Together

Volunteers are one of our most valuable resources.  We value the diverse skills that our volunteers bring to the shelter. Volunteers transport animals to the shelter, prepare diets, disinfect animal housing, make repairs, wash dishes, help educate, and perform many other tasks.  We continually grow our team and train people to help rescue animals in need.

OWLS accepts junior volunteers and encourages teens to connect with wildlife and learn social and technical skills working along side trained rehabilitation technicians and other volunteers from our community.
